Well, another great week for Fail Squad. I want to welcome all of our new members that have joined in the past month or so. We're so glad to have you and hope that you enjoy being a part of the family. Be sure to hop on mumble when you're playing so we can get to know you better(guild chat is hard to keep up with sometimes). If you don't know the mumble info its in the guild tab under "News".
Raiding this week went really well across the board. All three groups downed new bosses in the Thone of Thunder. One Night Stand took down Megaera and Ji-Kun while ShadoPancakes killed Twins and died repeatedly to Lei-Shen. The Monday night group moved into ToT this week and killed Jin'rohk on their first try. If you're looking for a raid group to join, Monday's are wide open with needs at all 3 roles.
We may not be the best but we sure do have fun doing it.
PVP
The RBGs were a little short on people this week after most players reached 1400 on their toons last week. Though that didn't stop some of our pvpers from stomping alliance into the dirt with Omerta and Ionaenemia reaching 1550 on their toons this week. Grats!
Get to know a Fail Squad member. Vol 1
I had something special I wanted to do each week where we all get to know each other a little better. I'll be "interviewing" Fail Squadders from noobs to vets. This week I'll start with the most fail of us all, our GM, Uaine.
Q) What is your name and main character's name?
Amber. I play Usko and UaineQ) Where are you from?
Calgary, Alberta CanadaQ) What is your profession?
In the past I was a teacher for the RCMP. I taught community groups and merchants about fraud and money laundering. The following year I taught in the private sector for a Green Power company. I explained alternative energy choices to youth groups and elementary children. Currently I do sales audits on Tobacco products and market research for various products in National grocery and pharmaceutical chains, but I'd like to go back to teaching.Q) What is a hobby you enjoy outside of WoW?
I am a fiction writer. I write children's and genre fiction. I also really enjoy baking and I'm learning cake decorating.
Q) Whats your favorite style of music and who are you into at this moment?
Oh my. So many to choose from, and many arguments with Dan on the validity of my communist Canadian music ! (If you're interested Google CRTC and “Canadian content” law in Canada and find out just how communist we actually are) I enjoy everything. Right now I really dig Lindsey Stirling and Dead Can Dance. My favourite artist overall is Matthew Good, from Vancouver.Q) Favorite movie of all time?

I would like to write professionally. I'd have to finish a manuscript first.Q) What profession would you not like to do?
Housekeeping. Been there, done that.Q) If you could have a condiment dispensed from your bellybutton, what would it be?
Tricky. You'd be liable not to like it very much after a period of time. So while my first choice would be chocolate sauce, I'd be concerned to lose my enjoyment of chocolate after being able to dispense it so readily. Therefore, I'll say butterscotch.Q) If you could go back to any decade which would you choose and why?
I would go back to the 80s and sit around watching Saturday morning cartoons while eating the sugariest most colorful cereal I could find. Wait...then mom would throw on the Genesis records and it would be time to clean the house.

Right now I'm having a love affair with the Monk. Previous to Mists I'd have said Druid.Q) Least favorite wow class?
Death Knight. I've never managed one past level 65. They're OP and they make me (heals) feel useless. /cries in pancakes -
FailSquad is now 6th for the server! With many of our guildies pushing through new raids and completing old ones, we are steadily climbing the charts! We have done a successful Herald run and ShadoPancakes have downed the first 3 bosses and Elegon on heroic!
In more announcement type news: The Monday(really needs a better name)Night team are still looking to try and permanently fill spots for a raid time 8-11pm server. A new Heroic MSV run for Saturday nights is starting THIS weekend for all who are interested, please talk to Protadin and/or sign up on http://openraid.us/events/view/81924 as he will be leading this one. Also, a few more fun-runs will be coming up within the next few months including the famous dodge ball game I have been telling y'all about for about 2 years. Hopefully it will be as much fun as I remember it being. More details will be announced soon! One last little tidbit, just a reminder that the guild is looking for a new banker!
Job requirements:
- Clean the current inventory and set up an inventory management system.
- Keep a basic stock of flasks and one stack of pandaran feasts available for emergency r raiding.
- Work with the GM to edit tabs and permissions as appropriate
I want someone willing to play the market. You will be responsible for selling excess raid materials and helping bolster our funds. This application will have an interview attached to it, so be prepared to answer questions.

You heard that correct!! Blizzard has officially announced the dates for this years BLIZZCON!!!!! It will be held on November 8th and 9th in sunny California. As of right this moment, dates of when tickets will go on sale have not yet been released but here is a link to information and I for one will keep us updated as more info gets released.
